| Crackle Medium | There are 2 main types of crackle 1 is used over a basecoat and the other is sandwiched between 2 layers of paint -
1)Crackle Medium – Use – Use with Acrylics or Background Paints
Creates a fine crackle pattern when applied over acrylic paint.
Crackle pattern will vary depending on thickness of uncured base colour and application of the Crackle Medium,
May also be applied to selected areas to spot crackle for special effects.
Coverage - 1 ml = 62 square cm.
2) Décor (Sandwich)Crackle
Use – This is used for sandwich or layered crackle. Eg. You apply over a basecoat – then paint a different colour over the crackle so that the bottom colour will show through the topcoat when it crackles.
Creates a bold crackle pattern . The thicker and fresher the Décor Crackle the larger the crackle pattern will be.
