Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us! Any informationyou give us will be used only to keep you updated regarding new products and specials, and will not be given to a third party.
Placing Orders
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars. Orders will not be sent until payment in full has been received and funds are cleared, and subject to the availability of the item.
Postage and Handling
All orders are shipped via Australia Post or by Courier. International orders will be sent by airmail only. Charges for postage depend on the weight of the package and your location. Once you have placed your order you will receive an email reply stating the cost of your purchase including postage and handling. Please do NOT pay for your purchase until you have received this email.
It is your responsibility to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we will re-send the order to the correct address at your expense.
All care and attention is given to ensure your order leaves us in excellent condition. Whilst we accept no responsibility for parcels lost or damaged within the postal system, please notify us if your parcel doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged and we will look into it for you.
If your goods arrive damaged, Australia Post will request to view them before any claims can be made.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact us via email before attempting to return any items. If you receive a faulty product please let us know immediately and we will refund the original product price and delivery fees. Alternatively, if you request a replacement, we will send your replacement item (subject to availability) at our cost, once we have received the returned item.
When returning an item through Australia Post please keep the appropriate proof of return. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during their return. All returned products must be:
- Unused, unopened and in original condition
- Undamaged
- Returned within 14 days
- In a saleable condition upon return
In the event of a return by you, we will issue an exchange or refund, however, all postage and handling costs both on delivery and return are your responsibility.
Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately via email. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation of the order is within our sole discretion. Orders that cannot be cancelled will be subject to our terms and conditions relating to Returns and Exchanges.
A deposit of 50% of the total price must be paid for Custome Made orders before work will commence. If a custom made order is cancelled, the deposit is forfeited and all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation must be paid.
A $10 fee will be charged for a quote on custom made woodwork which can then be redeemed on the cost of the order if you go ahead within 4 weeks of the quote.
Cancellation By Us
We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, terminate membership accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders (or part thereof) at our sole discretion at any time. We will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.
Disclaimer
Heartworks Folk Art & Decorative Painting cannot be held liable for injuries, illness, loss or damage sustained by the use of any product we distribute or for the value of work alleged to be spoiled by the use of a product which proves unsatisfactory. It is the user’s responsibility to make sure that the products are suitable for their particular requirements. Our liability is limited to replacement of merchandise proven faulty with respect to workmanship.
